• I am a Jew By Choice - not a Jew by birth.
• I have an IQ of 142 - not huge but not bad.
• I have written two Star Trek novels - currently trying to get them published.
• I am currently working on a novel about a group of genetic oddities that resemble freaks of myth - trying to get that published too.
• I have written a suite of symphonic sketches for a full Symphony Orchestra - same deal re publishing.
• The Queensland Conservatorium of Music said no to me because I was a self taught composer.
  
• I taught myself to read Hebrew.
• Careers to date include - Ballet Dancer, Health Policy, Administration, Housewife, Small Business Owner, back to Administration.
• I have a freakishly accurate long term memory that can recall the most obscure details, but I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday.
• I am ridiculous with details. Send me to the store for three things and I will come back with two.
  
• I am the youngest of three siblings.
• My sister and I do not get along - she is a horrible person.
• My brother is a man with a heart of gold but is very misunderstood.
• I used to be able to speak fluent conversational Japanese - I still speak and read a little.
• My Hebrew is horrendous.
• I knew I was gay at 13 - came out when my mum asked if I was at 19.
• I have lived in Australia, USA, and now New Zealand.
• I didn't have my first plane flight until I was 24.
• I didn't travel out of my country until I was 30.
• My addiction is red wine.
• Before my depression I had infinite patience.
• After the onset of my depression my patience deserted me and I now have a hair trigger that if I had violent tendencies could most probably result in a killing spree never before seen by man.
• I believe there is life in the universe other than our own. I hope they are Vulcans :)
  
• If you put a gun in my hands, and then put me in a room with a Neo-Nazi - I would prefer to kill him rather than educate him. Good thing I don't own a gun or want to.
• I almost married a woman so I could stay in the US but my conscience got in the way - dammit.
• I am a Star Trek hardcore geek - I know the technology, the characters, the episodes and so much minutiae it is almost embarrassing - but I revel in it.
• My oral sex skills would cause your skull to cave in - I am that good.
• Large crowds make me desperately uncomfortable.
• I believe there is both good and evil in the world - I do not understand why evil things happen to good people.
• I have never had a speeding ticket.
• I an unashamedly front of the plane - I hate economy class - it is designed to make poor people feel poor. I would rather hock my husband and sit up front - and he would do the same to me - and we like it that way.
• I find blogging a great creative outlet.
• I get a buzz when my readership spikes.

1. World Naked Bike Ride, Worldwide - June and July

Each year since 2004, bike riders have joined to celebrate cycling and protest a culture where cars are king. This year, in 20 countries around the world, participants advocated freedom from oil and fabric. Nude cyclists bared their bodies with messages painted on their backs, fronts and rears. One TripAdvisor traveller advises: "Remember the sunscreen ... and those saddles will be hot, hot, hot, so cover them up before alighting, people!"

2. AANR World Record Skinny Dip, Across North America - July

Put more than 12,000 people shoulder deep in pools across North America without a stitch of clothing in sight, and what do you get? The "largest number of people skinny dipping at once," now a category in the Guinness Book of World Records due to the American Association for Nude Recreation.

3. Nude Beach Olympics, Maslin Beach, Australia - January

Taking place on Australia's sunny Maslin Beach in South Australia, the games are a celebration of Maslin's status as first official nude beach in the country.

4. Running of the Nudes, Pamplona, Spain - July

PETA's "Running of the Nudes" protests the cruelty of bullfighting with participants choosing to show a little skin in hopes that one day Pamplona's bulls won't have to. The runners don plastic bull horns, red scarves, and little else, to run the half-mile Pamplona course.

5. Black Rock Desert, Nevada, August - September

The annual Burning Man project is a self-proclaimed haven of self-expression, creativity and community. Drawing 50,000 people to the Black Rock Desert in 2008, huge works of art are generated at the event, namely the "Man," which is burned on the final night as part of the process of restoring the area to its natural state, with no trace of the revellers. Participants often take advantage of the free-spirited attitude by getting nude.
