That's what food stylists get paid to do. They will literally open up 100's of boxes of a prepared foods, select the most appealing components, and arrange them together to create a perfect product to be photographed. Some other tricks include brushing meat with mineral oil or vegetable oil to make it appear more juicy, gluing on individual sesame seeds, and using pastry bags to pipe condiments perfectly.
