Driving to gym tonight, the traffic was pretty heavy and there was a woman trying to merge into the traffic.

I slowed down a bit so she should get in.

The smile on her face was just beautiful. It was full of warmth and literally lit her face up.

Which, of course, caused me to smile and my bad mood to completely fall away.

I didn't solve world hunger, but I brought a smile to someone's face who, in turn, made me feel good too.

It really is the little things in life than can make a huge difference.
