I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
I love Heidi - she is fiercely fabulous all the time.
I love Michael Kors - especially when the contestants get too cocky and he slaps them down. "Slutty slutty slutty !!!"
Nina Garcia - A troupe of drag queens stuck in a womans body :) - You just know she'll cut ya !
And of course my Timmy - Tim Gunn - Chief Creative Consultant for Liz Claiborne and total definition of mentor. I love how invested he gets. He clearly loves what he is doing and he loves and teaching. Love you Timmy !
Here are a few of the contestants that stood out for me. Good and Bad.
I particularly like Korto Momolu - she is sassy, kicks arse, and has an amazing sense of design. I really liked the fact that she didn't like Kenelley (who did?) - My favourite Korto quote was when someone said that Kenelly seemed to be all on her own - Kortos response?... "I don't feel sorry for her!" - event television in my opinion :)
Leanne - She annoyed me at first - but she evolved so well in the show. I loved some of her later stuff.
Kenelley - the absolutely whiner - OH THAT VOICE !!!!!!!!! Grates on my like sandpaper on ya sphincter. And every time she says / cries "I've had it hard and I've fought so hard!" What a load of crap - her Florida parents give her everything she wants - so annoying. Plus she was rude to my Timmy - and you KNOW how I love me some Tm Gunn !!!!!
Terri - she managed to be homophobic AND racist AND sexist all at once - quite an achievement for a black woman. So annoying - and she was always rude to everyone. Nice....... NOT! - And her style was just terrible - honestly.
MAJOR FAIL !
Keith - Poor hot can't listen to his betters Keith. Gay - Inked - Hot - Piereced - Muscles - but not even two neurons firing in the same direction.
Swatches are SO 1980's - I know ........ I was there !!!
Jerrell - Interesting style. Not my thing but I could CERTAINLY understand it. It was an interesting mix of over the top construction and personal style.
Blayne - Oh dear. Sweet sweet coke-head, tanning-freak Blayne. He is just so young. He will work out and I hope he does coz he showed flashes of promise. But the shorts thing - for Brooke Shields?? - Oh no.... just..... no.
Suede - ANYONE who talks of themselves in the 3rd person is an idiot. Full stop. And he was just one of those annoying gays who personified EVERY negative stereotype. Yecch.
Joe - I LOVE THIS MAN!!! A str8 man in the middle of the queens who gives as good as he gets AND he won the drag queen challenge. Suck that Queens! I love it when he says in one episode...... "There are too many queens here... that's why there's so much drama!" - And another angel got it's wings :)
Stella - How fucking cool was she - TOTAL biker chick and never gave up her own style for a second - EVEN when she knew it would get her kicked off. You rock bitch !
