....STOP THE MEME I WANNA GET OFF !!!! ........

.
I am too tragic for my own good and its a SICKNESS - a SICKNESS I TELL YOU !!

I'm the crack-whore who can't work past a john without thinking about that sweet sweet high from the rocks!

I cant walk past a MEME without doing it.

I blame YvesPaul over at Melodramatic Diary of a Cynic .... again....

Here we go..... (reaches for the pipe).............

1. What were you afraid of as a child?

The Dark. Really. Still am. Comes from being claustrophobic I guess.

2. When have you been most courageous?

When I made the decision to answer YES when my mother asked if I was gay at 18.

3. What sound most disturbs you?

Loud people in general but it just cuts when they are on a train / bus on a mobile phone - shudder.

4. What is the greatest amount of physical pain you’ve been in?

Once when I had an asthma attack it felt like all my ribs had been broken repeatedly - that was the one and only time when they seriously considered putting me in ICU.

5. What’s your biggest fear for your children? (or children in general if you don’t have some of your own.)

Sexual / physical / psychological abuse. Bullying.

6. What is the hardest physical challenge you’ve achieved?

The splits when I was a dancer - if you think it isn't much of a challenge - go ahead.

7. Which do you prefer: Mountains or oceans/big water?

Oceans/big water, always so peaceful and calming.

8. What is the one thing you do for yourself that helps you keep everything together?

I find working out very therapeutic - baths and red wine also helps.

9. Ever had a close relative or friend with cancer?

My nan is currently dying from lung cancer.

10. What are the things your friends count on you for?

Someone who will listen without judgement - support without limits.

11. What is the best part of being in a committed relationship?

Knowing that the love in my heart is returned every time he smiles.

12. What is the hardest part of being in a committed relationship?

It can take a lot of work - and it is hard work. But if you don't put the work in, you'll soon have it end.

13. Summer or Winter? Why?

Winter. It is easier to get warm than cool. Plus I love the sort of comfort food Winter inspires :)

14. Have you ever been in a school-yard fight? Why and what happened?

Yes - a kid kept picking on me and I busted his lip. When I admitted to the Principal that it was me who did it he simply said "If it was you then he must have deserved it". It was nice to have someone on my side.

15. Why blog?

Mainly as an outlet for my thoughts - I have a lot. But also I find it very satisfying both creatively and personally.

16. Did you learn about sex, and/or sex safety from your parents?

Oh HELL NO !! Are you high Clarice??? Thank G-d I had a very nice boy my own age show me with various bits and pieces of his anatomy.

17. How do you plan to talk to your kids about sex and/or sex safety?

I had a fairly open chat with my niece once. It was just a conversation - nothing serious - as it should be.

18. What are you most thankful for this year?

I met a wonderful person named Penny who is turning out to be a breath of fresh air in my life. She's also an absolute DEMON for wine - we like that. We like her. We like you Penny - hugs.
