................I have never supported the war - even though I knew that Saddam had to go.
But I do support my country's armed forces. They are brave and selfless.
May HaShem protect them all.

According to the article, the young man in the middle was blinded during his tour. His mates are leading him as they march.

I'm with you on those sentiments. I support the soldiers not the war.
Canada just lost two more overnight in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. A little piece of me dies each time we lose one of these brave people.
It breaks my heart every time I read the Defense Departments casualty list. I'm sure most Americans don't know it even exists or care but I do. This stupid and senseless war in Iraq and Afghanistan is a waste of human lives. President Obama is just continuing the same failed policies

read and weep...there MY 2 cents.
I'm just relieved the US has pulled out of Iraq now
Sorry, emmaK,but we haven't pulled out of iraq... there is a drawdown of forces but whatever the propaganda says to the contrary, there will be a HUGE US military presence in Iraq (and Afghanistan) for decades to come (if not in perpetuity). Alas, the US bases under construction there are the size of small cities. Gotta keep a grip on all that OIL, right? (And that's all the Occupation was ever about; when most Americans still think Saddam masterminded 9/11, who cares or needs to tell the truth?)
