.........Rosh HaShana Beat..........
thanks to Michael in Montreal for sending me this.... L'Shana Tovah Michael.........
Hope that Michael is not from HAMPSTEAD, a Montréal neighborhood, because THAT is not what we heard about your «new years festivities»..
It made a HUGE debate here, on tv and in the papers, because the voted a TWO days of SILENCE, at the city hall, because of that... People were not happy to have to STOP mowing lawn or doing outside building work etc... If not, they had to face fines of $200...
Here, we are a civil society and we do care about each liberty of religion BUT, some just exagerate... Like some muslims that were asking Montréal university to settle a place so they can wash and pray inside the buildings...
So, have a nice «Rosh HaShanna» you and Michael and all the others..
