Size Matters...

If we lose this magnificent creature, it is hypothesized that the marine ecology as we know it will collapse, including the fish stocks that so many of us enjoy.  As the apex predator, the Great White Shark keeps mid placed predators like seals, dolphins, marlin, and barracuda in check.  This in turn keeps the ecosystem balanced.

That's a very good question. Techinically "us".
