OK - so America has lost it's shit coz a NON white American won the Miss America Pageant.
This poor woman is now being called all sorts of racist and degrading names.

No doubt, racism is alive and well in America! As vile and ugly as the racist remarks about the new Miss America, though, the majority of us have twice elected Barack Obama (only 17 of 45 US president were twice elected, including FDR 4 times).
On the balance, I'll take the Obama wins and the movement forward that represents as victory enough over the many fewer bigots of hate.
