***UPDATE*** Misty was today promoted to Principal Dancer.  The first woman of colour to be a principal ballerina with the American Ballet Theatre!!   YAY!!!


I love Misty Copeland for a whole bucket of reasons.

Mostly - I love her coz she is a kick arse ballet broad....
