Happy 66th Birthday Mr Barry Manilow
Mr Manilow started his career accompanying Bette Midler at the Intercontinental Bathhouse in New York - they played for gay men in towels - how fabulous.
He went on to be her musical director for the Divine Miss M tour and history was made.
They are still the best of friends.
And yeah - we like to giggle about his music - but we are all closet Barry fans :)

And he has NEVER lip synched - you hear that Madonna - never!.

It's my mom's and my nephew's B'day's today too. Happy birthday to them and to Barry. Hope they're all celebrating ... "At the Copa, Copacabana ..." ;O{)
I don't consider myself a Fanilow.
However, Copacabana is the earworm that follows me for life.
I shall never be free of it.
Ooooooh, controversial closer there Damien. Just so you know Madge isn't a lip syncher either... Level your vitriol at a Duff, Hilton, Spears or similar! Ha ha ha.
Oh, and Manilow falls into the 'meh' category for me, but that's not to say I won't gaily toe-tap along!
