Prompted by a comment from Mutant re Wonder Woman / Lynda Carter, I thought "Geez he is bang on the money!"
Whatever DID happen to real classic beauty?

Now you're talking! I do so love the way these women presented themselves, both on-screen and off. You never heard of their coke-fuelled, night club-hopping, paparazzi-dodging antics, why? Because there was none!
perhaps you saw my post on proud fm's interview with lynda carter? Did you hear it? she is amazing. i love her more than i did before!
Mayhaps Kevin you saw my wee little understatement comment?
Marlo is still going strong and still as fabulash and still with Phil!
Admit it.
You watched it dressed up in the tin tits.
Stunning, stunning women. Especially Lynda.
I saw her cabaret show when it was here in Chicago and it was absolutely brilliant. At one point, she positioned her arms in the "pre-spin to change clothes" Wonder Woman spin, and the crowd went wild. But, she said, "Nah..." and when some queen in the back room (not me, I swear!) shouted, "Spin! Spin!!!", Lynda quickly said, "You get up here and spin."
Then, she started giggling and said, "I thought of something, but I... I can't say it." Then, some queen in the audience (this time, it WAS me) screamed, "Say it! Say it!" and Lynda said, in a dirty, sexy, tie-you-up-in-her-lasso voice, "Sit and spin on this."
Made me love her even more. :)
beauty girl!
I sat next to Marlo for dinner a few years back. We talked about the cancer biz and how to raise funds for St. Judes. I like to think she used my idea with the recent celebs in their commercials. But, I am probably being egotistical. She was in charge, just as you'd expect her to be.
I love this and I agree!
There are no classically beautiful women on television anymore. All of them are so botoxed out that they literally look plastic (Bree Vandekamp HEllOOOO?).
Natural beauty along with the ability to create facial expressions is truly a divine gift from the Gods themselves.
