So the apparent 'One Who Should Have Won' American Idol has THIS to say about the LGBT's.
'This is how I feel about the LGBT community: They are people just like us. They’re not animals as someone [Manny Pacquiao] stated before. They’re people with feelings ... I am one of the people who don’t really agree with that lifestyle. I wasn’t brought up that way. It wasn’t how I was raised. But I do have a lot of friends and a lot of people that I love dearly who are gay and homosexual and they’re such sweet, nice people. We should just respect each other’s differences and opinions and move on.'

"Don't really agree with that lifestyle?"
Hmmmm........ how about this.
It ain't a lifestyle lady. It's genetic. Being the "deeply religious" gal that you are, I hope you pop out three or four of THAT lifestyle.
I don't care if you are black, white, pink, yellow or Vulcan. You and your bad attitude can f*ck off.
Your discrete homophobia leaves an obvious distaste in my mouth.
Oh - and I am curious to hear how your gay and homosexual (um, are they like ...... different?) friends feel now.
And cue comment explanation press release in 3 .......... 2 ........... 1..........Ugh.
D
xox
PS awwwww and she seemed so sweet. Not.

So I've heard/read about it earlier.
Who cares, really? :D
The annoying reason for caring is that MILLIONS of young people are reading what these annoying contest finalists say et al.
Again ........ Ugh.
D
Now where is my eye roll emoji?
I was trolled on a well known gay blog over this. I never mentioned race, size, style or beliefs. Only who cares, she didn't win.
I must admit that I was most flattered that someone read my comment and got a reaction.
Grouchy - I hear ya.
What do you want? It's ridiculous to demand that she endorse "the gay life style." It isn't for her. So what? It should be enough that she wants everyone should respect each others' differences.
Steve - the statement shows her ignorance. It is not a LIFE STYLE. It is genetics. For her to say that shows that she is ignorant and potentially INTENTIONALLY so. And when you add to that the millions of ppl that watch that bloody show, her words have influence.
And saying that she says "respect each others differences" is washed out by her ignorance.
It's called nuance.
