Dear Fred Phelps ...

As you claimed to be a man of G-d whilst alive, I thought it fitting that I write to you now as a fellow man of G-d upon your passing.

As you are now a spirit, you’ll be able to read this and everything else currently being written about you (at least if the rumours are true about our capabilities in the next world).

I would like to say that whilst I take no pleasure in any death, I do take comfort knowing that you yourself are no longer here.

 

Yours was a miserable life filled with hate and scorn. 

 

Yours was a miserable life adorned with colourful signs proclaiming what G-d does and does not like.

 

Yours was a miserable life in which much energy and money was spent on ruining the private lives of people who were suffering some of the most unforgiving of pains.

 

Yours was a miserable life in which G-d’s fury was what most comforted you at night.  Even though the Bible / Torah / Quran all overwhelmingly speak of G-ds love, not hate.

 

Yours was a miserable life where you taught your children and their children that hate was preferable and indeed “obligatory”.

 

Yours was a miserable life which could have been spent on such worthy Christian endeavours as The Poor, The Sick, and, The Outcast – just as that nice man Jesus did. (At least so I am told).

 

Yours was a miserable life that celebrated the death of those who courageously stood on the front line against those who would hurt us all – including you and your family.

 

Yours was a miserable life in which your protestations of “G-ds’ insight” only helped to hurt those of us who live a life of Faith.  Enemies lump us in the same basket after all.  Just like you did with me and mine.

 

Yours was a miserable life that rewarded you and your family with mocking from the masses.  Even from other Christians.

 

Yours was a miserable life that will now be analysed by the Highest Power you so ostentatiously and righteously proclaimed you represented.

 

Yours was a miserable life, and you deserve no less than a life eternal of misery in the world to come.

Cult leader Peter Moses jailed for killing wife and 4 yr-old he accused of 'being gay'

A CULT leader who ran a polygamous sect has been jailed for the murders of one of his wives and a 4-year-old boy who he accused of being gay. 

Peter Moses was handed two life sentences by a court for the killing of 28-year-old Antoinetta McKoy and Jadon Higganbothan.

Moses was the self-appointed leader of the “Black Hebrew Israelites,” a cult he ran from his house in the suburbs of Durham, North Carolina.

Five other women lived there with him as his “wives”, sharing the household chores and Moses’ bed.
According to a report in the New York Daily News, Moses held the women under his strict control, taking money they earned from jobs while he stayed at home and studied theology. When McKoy tried to leave she was killed.
Four others have pleaded guilty to the killings, including Vania Sisk, who was Higganbothan’s mother.
Prosecutors say Sisk watched while Moses put a gun to her little boy’s head. She is also accused of pulling the trigger in the killing of McKoy.

"To know [my daughter] begged for her life is even more painful,” Yvonne McKoy, the mother of the victim reportedly told the court.

McKoy was shot while a recording of the Lord’s Prayer in Hebrew played in the background. The same fate was suffered by 4-year-old Higganbothan, who was the only child in the house not fathered by Moses. Moses reportedly decided the boy was gay after he saw him hit another child on the buttocks.

In YouTube videos shown in court, Moses revealed his warped faith, which included the belief that women were “cursed to serve”.

“You are our possession,” Moses said about women. “Get that through your head."

'Smoking Healthier Than Gay Marriage'

The head of the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL) Jim Wallace says smoking is healthier than the lifestyle that would be promoted by same-sex marriage.
Mr Wallace made the claim in a debate on marriage equality with Greens leader Christine Milne at the University of Tasmania today.
Answering a question from a student on the relevance of his views, he said health statistics among the gay community were worse than those for smokers.

"I think we're going to owe smokers a big apology when the homosexual community's own statistics for its health - which it presents when it wants more money for health - are that is has higher rates of drug-taking, of suicide, it has the life of a male reduced by up to 20 years," he told the audience. 
"The life of smokers is reduced by something like seven to 10 years and yet we tell all our kids at school they shouldn't smoke."

After the debate, Mr Wallace said the figures saddened him.
"But what I'm saying is we need to be aware that the homosexual lifestyle carries these problems and ... normalising the lifestyle by the attribution of marriage, for instance, has to be considered in what it does encouraging people into it," he said.
Mr Wallace said legalising same-sex marriage in other countries had not reduced risk factors for gay people.

"Where gay marriage has been introduced, or civil unions, it hasn't changed the level of suicide," he said.
"We have to accept the unfortunate levels of suicide, the unfortunate levels of excessive drug use (are) because of the nature of the lifestyle.
"I am very sorry for that. My heart goes out to those people. But it is a fact."

Senator Milne said discrimination in laws such as the Marriage Act was a contributor to any health concerns.
"What I know is that the mental health issues for young gay people particularly are certainly increased when discrimination occurs," she told reporters.

There was little love lost between Mr Wallace and Senator Milne during the debate.
Senator Milne accused the ACL of homophobia and said Christians should be more concerned with poverty than homosexuality.

She said with bills before the federal parliament and Tasmania's lower house last week passing a same-sex marriage bill, change was inevitable.

Mr Wallace accused the Greens of demonising churches with "hate language" and caring more for trees than children.

He described gay activism as "bullying" and said a climate had been created for "legislation by fatigue".
