(1) Don't give Israel a reason to bring it's perverse military might down on you - it takes two to have a fight. And yes - Israel should also take a Valium and give you 5 minutes of peace.

(2) Recognise that you need Israel. It provides over half of your economy. It employs you. And yes - Israel needs you too. You provide the labor force. But Israel shouldn't have to worry if it's merchants and workers are about to blow them into pieces.

(3) Stand up to the moron fanatics in your own country. Others have. You're actually more afraid of them than you are of Israel.

(4) Get over the whole "USA BAD" thing. Guess what - the USA doesn't care and neither does the EU or The Commonwealth or 99% of other countries in the world.

(5) Grow up and try taking the high road for once - Israel used to do it but then it got majorly trigger happy thanks to Ariel Sharon - so do what the most famous revolutionary in history did... nothing. Ghandi opposed violence and oppression with non-violence and won. You haven't won with bombs and guns and grenades. Learn from him.

(6) Stop being a "welfare" country. Your problems are mostly of your own devising. You want to have a better life - create one. You are the engineer of your own making. Sure, you can ask for assistance, guidance and some money. But ultimately, your country's future is of your own design - for good or bad. Remember Germany in the 30's?

(7) Finally - and this is from someone who does not have ONE ounce of Zionism in him - If you want to exist, then Israel has to be recognised by the Arab League. They listen to you. They like it when you talk to them - so talk to them - without the hysterical shouting.

(8) Yes - I'm not fond of the current Palestinian territories - I'm not fond of any people who dance joyously in the streets when pictures of people jumping from buildings from fires caused by airplanes crashing into them are televised - I think giving out free sweets to children whilst screaming "DOWN WITH USA" as innocent people burn is quite frankly so barbaric it is less than human - but even now I wouldn't deny your right to a recognised home.

Good luck with that Statehood thing.

Untold euphoria prevailed among Palestinians after the fires that broke out in several places in northern Israel, which led to the deaths of more than 40 Zionists, although grief was felt by some [because of] the large amounts of Arab and European aid to assist in fire suppression at the time when the Palestinian people are groaning from violations of the occupation.

Palestine Today met many people whose faces reflected a great joy about what happened in Israel, where they stressed that this was the least that can happen to the entity…

Citizen Bassam Hamdan expressed her delight at the fall of more than 40 people in the ranks of the Zionists, calling it revenge of God Almighty for the children of the martyrs who fell from the Zionist occupation fire, forcing the enemy to know that there are forces greater than all.

The citizen Sami Al Masri described how the Palestinian people always rejoice when there are casualties among the Israelis and this stems from the nature of the ongoing conflict with the Palestinians, but feels unfortunate for the participation of Arabs in fire suppression.

................Between these types of Palestinians & the Jewish Ultra-Orthodox hardliners I find it almost IMPOSSIBLE to believe we haven't achieved peace in the Middle East.......and these people were innocent victims of the recent wildfires in Israel... not fighting......

Four Israelis shot dead in West Bank Hamas attack

Four Israelis were killed in a shooting attack on a vehicle in the West Bank, two days before a new round of Mideast peace talks is scheduled to start in Washington.
The four were killed shortly in an "ambush" and the police and army were searching for the assailants, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said in a telephone interview.
The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the attack in a text message to reporters in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will meet on September 2 in Washington to start direct peace talks, the first face-to-face negotiations between the sides in 20 months. The US has said it hopes a deal can be reached within a year.

The attack took place near the settlement of Kiryat Arba, close to the city of Hebron, Rosenfeld said. The victims were a couple, including a pregnant woman, and two other passengers, Israeli army spokeswoman Avital Leibovich said in a telephone interview.
"This criminal attack proves once again the need to insist on Israel's security needs, over which there will be no compromise," said Netanyahu spokesman Nir Hefez, who relayed the prime minister's remarks to reporters after he landed in the US for the start of talks.

'Relatively Stable'

The Qassam Brigades said the "armed operation near Hebron is a natural response to the crimes of the Israeli occupation and its settlers".
It was the first fatal attack in the West Bank since an Israeli policeman was shot dead and two others were wounded there on June 14.

Leibovich said in a telephone interview that the attack took place in an area that had been "relatively stable" and that she hoped it was an isolated incident that didn't "represent a deterioration of the security situation".

The peace talks will be the first time Israeli and Palestinian officials have met face-to-face since negotiations broke down when Israel launched a military offensive in Gaza in December 2008. Israel said it was aimed at stopping the firing of rockets from the coastal enclave at its towns and cities.

Hamas, which is considered a terrorist organization by the US, the European Union and Israel, fired about 3200 rockets and mortars into Israel in 2008, according to the Israeli army.
Final-status issues
Hamas seized full control of Gaza in 2007 after winning parliamentary elections the previous year, ending a partnership government with the Fatah party of Abbas, which controls the West Bank.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said August 20 that the aim of the talks was to "resolve all final-status issues, which we believe can be completed in one year".
Issues to be resolved include the borders of a Palestinian state, security guarantees for Israel, the right of return for Palestinian refugees and the status of Jerusalem.
