........WONDER WOMAN!!!!.............. My # 1 favourite superhero of the ENTIRE pantheon of comic book heroes - DC & Marvel combined....... Lynda Carter brought her to television in a brilliant portrayal of the strength and integrity of the comic book character.



..........Raven from the Teen Titans........... deeply troubled empath with the Demon Dad - Trigon. I loved how she was handled in the comic books. So vulnerable and yet so profoundly intriguing. Loved it.......


......The Thing of the Fantastic Four........... I love this character.......... both in the books and in the films. I thought Simon Chiklis portrayed him brilliantly, which was a real shame coz the movies were NOT that good.........

...........Storm of the X-Men Marvel Comic Book......... in the comics I loved this character. She was kick arse and her weather powers were just awesome..............


........Superman............... I loved the portrayal of Superman by Christopher Reeve. He brought a humility and an earnestness to the character. I even liked Brandon Routh as Superman. Not perfect - but still a very good portrayal that was true to the character...........




..............Green Lantern............. I always loved the idea of the Green Lantern Corps and their ability to do basically whatever they wanted via their lantern powered ring. TOTALLY keen to see how Ryan Reynolds does...........

..............Batman............ The Heartbroken Billionaire Vigilante............... Love the latest reboot of the franchise and the choice of actor.............................


......UN-Favourites..........


...............Green Arrow................. never got into him......... the whole archer with the boxing glove arrow shtick didn't light my fire................

.............Invisible Girl/Woman......... whine whine whine........... didn't like her in movie or the books.................... puke...............


..........Cyclops of the X-Men................. all that power - such small cojones........... never liked the character........... again, whiney............


..........Storm in the X-Men movies.................... TERRIBLY written and not at ALL true to the comic books............. Storm is a ball buster......... not a woman who runs around wringing her hands about everything................. Poor Halle was made to look like an idiot in the first two movies......


.................................Don't get me started on these two.................... wrong on EVERY level............

.....................Starfire................. comic book porn with an empty head to match........ I'm surprised that they didn't just have her energy beams coming out of her nipples ***shudder***..............



.......................Robin.......... I don't know................. I just never liked the idea of Batman's sidekick except as a possible gay porn fantasy......................

..................................Raven of the Animated Series..................... Total travesty.............. she went from a powerful and multi-layered character down to a Valley Girl with a cape...................
