Most of you may remember Simon from his first profile here. If you havent read it, have a look at....

Now here is Part 2 of Simon's 2 Cents Worth.
(Q) Hey Simon - welcome back and thanks for letting me do a Part 2 on you.
(A) Thanks mate. I read your profiles on Ashton Cruz and Scott from Bill In Exile so I feel pretty humbled being here in that sort of company LOL.
(Q) Not at all. You were a very popular article here. The sex industry is still taboo and people are always wanting to know about something they are somewhat wary about.
(A) I think the taboo issue depends where you are from. It's definitely taboo in the US - but in countries like Australia and areas of Europe the sex industry is nothing like its depicted in the press.
(Q) Okay - tell us about the sex industry in Australia.
(A) The industry in Australia is made up of two parts. You have the commercial sex industry which is regulated and legal. And you have the street trade - which is illegal in most areas and certainly not regulated.
(Q) When you talk about the commercial sex industry, what do you mean?
(A) The commercial industry is sex work - NOT prostitution, I talked about that last time. Commercial sex workers make an informed decision to enter the industry and conduct themselves as small business-people working with a product that is essentially themselves.
The street trade is not commercial sex work. Your average street worker is a drug addict feeding their habit - NOT providing for their life. Obviously there are some who aren't addicts but in my experience it's rare. I don't have anything against it, but I do feel a bit sad that these people are out there doing what they do in a situation which is pretty horrendous really.
(Q) Let me fire a few things at you and have you respond. All sex workers use drugs.
(A) While most street workers use, very few commercial workers do. In fact, because of the nature of the job, the rate of drug use amongst workers is probably less than that of the general public.
(Q) Sex workers are horny all the time and are nymphos.
(A) LOLOLOLOL. Jesus no !! Don't get me wrong, I have a huge sex drive myself but even I'm not horny all the time. There are days when the phone rings and I'll take the booking, but all I want to do is break out the ice cream pop on the tv and chill. It's a job and we treat it as such.
(Q) You cant have a relationship with a worker.
(A) Now that one is a little harder to answer. A relationship with a worker is difficult but not impossible. I wont date while Im a worker - I don't want the hassle of working through those issues. My time at home is precious to me and I dont want to have to be workshopping with my partner all the time. I do no workers who have partners and their relationships are perfectly fine. But its not for me.
(Q) Sex workers dont have morals.
(A) Once again, totally false. Yes, we have morals. We wouldnt be able to do our job if we didnt. Its our morality and sense of sexuality that helps us be good at what we do.
(Q) A sex worker enables adultery.
(A) I have several married men as clients. Do I enable their adultery? ... no. If it wasnt me, it would be someone else. At least with me, they wont catch anything, the wont suddenly have a stalking wanting them to leave their wives, plus I come with ZERO emotional baggage. I may be part of it, but I dont enable it.
(Q) All sex workers have HIV.
(A) Totally false. Of all the workers I know, I know two that are. And heres the thing, if youre having safe sex and doing the right thing, HIV is extremely difficult to catch. You are at less risk of catching HIV from a sex worker than you are a casual fuck.
(Q) Lets talk barebacking - what do you think of it? And have you been asked to do it?
(A) Actually Ive only been asked a couple of times to go without. I didnt. My ability to make money relies on my body - being HIV for me could affect my ability to make an income so I choose not to. I have another worker that I am good friends with and we sometimes go without, but I get tested with him and have a good friendship with him so there is trust there. I dont go raw casual.
Both times I was asked to go raw were with professional sports people. That was pretty surprising. These people's careers are ALL about their physical abilities and they want to put that at risk for an hour or so of fun. I wouldnt do it.
(Q) Any other interesting client stories for us before we sign off?
(A) Yeah one. I was the 'pass around' for a birthday party once. The guy was having his 40th and him and a few of his friends booked me for the evening. I was put in a bedroom - a very nice bedroom with a huge tv and the works - the guy had cash - and it was my job to make everyone happy if they wanted. I finished the night by being asked to stay over with the birthday boy and
give him a sleep-over to remember. He was a happy man in the morning LOL.
(Q) You had to put out for EVERYONE?
(A) Only oral was on offer for the guests - the birthday boy got what he wanted though. Like I said - he was happy.
(Q) Thanks for stopping by Simon. I look forward to the comments on Part 2.
(A) LOL Me too. Thanks mate and keep it going with the blog. Love the magazine style bit of everything you have going on.
