My favourite actor from The Original Series (tied for first with Nichelle Nichols of course) turns 76 today.

Not only is he one of the foundation actors for a pop culture phenomenon, he is a tireless champion for GLBT community causes.  And he is one of our own.

I think this man is a national living treasure.
