Wow! Brisbane looks amazing. When can I come visit?
Stephen: I say we just show up unannounced and move in.
Mistress MJ - there are lots of loverly street corners for you to sleep on :)
Holy cow! Brisbane looks so much more cosmopolitan than I was expecting. I always figured Australia had Sydney... and the outback. Cool city!
cb - 10 years ago I would have agreed. But Brisbane has just emerged from it's own Rennaisance. It is a very cultured and cosmo city with great dining.Sydney on the other hand is a pit - never liked it. It is grimy, filthy, unsafe and the gay scene is so full of bad attitude. Horrible... horrible.Melbourne is our cultural capital with fashion, food, wine, culture and social scene.
Damien, nice shots of the Brisbane. It looks like it has a good mix of everything. Maybe some day we will make it down that way, but I doubt that; our loss, obviously.
All I can say is how damn lucky your are not to live here in the US. I envy you!
Kyle - You should make the effort - it is a great city to visit and you would have a tour guide :)Stan - Au contraire - I lived in Orlando Florida for 2 years, and saw most of the eastern seaboard of the US and LOVED it.I consider it my second home.
